Bagend Corner

Bagend is a small apartment behind Montemartre in Paris. Three people live there. Rowan, Retha, and our newest Bagender, Fennel. Bagend is cosy and homely. We drink lots of warm drinks of numerous varieties, and we have a nice time eating posh meals in good company. People like to stop by for a cup of tea or a bite to eat sometimes or maybe just for a witter and a break.
Retha is from South Africa, and Rowan and Fennel are from England.
Retha is an artist and makes the decoration in Bagend interesting. She paints at night time and goes to a posh school for cinema and theatre make-up. She likes to party, and is tons of fun. Everybody likes her, and she's a good friend.
Rowan is the "domestro" of Bag End (that's Esperanto for "person-in-charge-of-the-house"). She is a good person to witter with about any topic. She likes to talk about posh things like culture and politics, but she also likes to let her hair down and have a good old laugh. Rowan is very spiritual and excellent at fixing aches and pains. She's also an excellent dancer!
Fennel is full of life. She plays terrible jokes and is the life and soul of the party. She has a big heart and a firm hand. Everybody loves a Fennel.
Well, we're all into Esperanto - the international language. We have an Esperanto page to explain further.
We have family and friends living in England and in other countries.
